Microchanneling may not be appropriate for everyone. Treatment may be postponed or not recommended if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy
• Have uncontrolled diabetes or a condition that significantly impairs healing
• Have an active skin infection, open wound, or inflammatory skin condition in the treatment area
• Have taken isotretinoin (Accutane®) within the past 6–12 months (as advised by your physician)
• Have a bleeding disorder or are taking medications that significantly affect clotting
• Have a known allergy to surgical-grade stainless steel
